I'm trying to update amarok to its latest version (v1.4.8-100). Since I dont know what are the required packages to enjoy the support for any kind of music file, specially MP3 files, I prefer to use always smart --gui since it picks up all the required dependencies, and build the whole package for me.
But this time I cann't make to work this package utility. I tried to update amarok but I was warned that not all the packages were available in the supposed channels. Try after try I got tired of trying to install that simple application from there so I closed the application. Then after that I thought... if would be a good idea to try installing the x32 version, may be just the x64 version had the issue. But now when I search for amarok, and try to install either of both version (x32 or x64) it throws me the same error: [attachmentid=2293] What else can I do to solve this problem and to finally have installed the latest version of amarok ? I already tried from YaST2 and it throwed more than 32 dependencies errors, I quit from there and decided better to switch to smart. BTW, in case it's useful, these are the repositories I've in YaST2: [attachmentid=2294] ... and these the channels I have in smart: [attachmentid=2295] I dont know if the problem is related in some way to the fact that smart keeps stored in its cache what previously partially downloaded. Since tried to download the x64 of amarok, and since it didn't found complete sources to complete the whole download, I stopped the operation and switched to download the x32 version. So I dont know if it keeps stored in its cache what downloaded previously and because of that the showed error. What do you think guys ? |
