ARCHIVES - Multimedia Don't know how to watch DVDs using mplayer? Asking yourself what the heck mplayer is? This is the right place to ask.

Hi,

Recently my new installation of Suse 10.3 (x86_64) started to go kaput. After rebooting Amarok loses its mp3 support. There I get a small window saying that Amarok cannot play mp3's (it's true) and proposing me to install mp3 etc. support, and being redirected by pressing the appropriated button I get to "http://opensuse-community.org/Multimedia" where I pass over those steps and install the required rpm's. Then Amarok plays mp3s and after the further rebooting it 's not able to play mp3s again...

XMMS plays mp3s without prblems

I tried to play a bit around downgrading the Amarok package - doesnt help. The version I'm running is 1.4.7-37.4 64bit. Others, even available (1.4.8-35.1 or 1.4.8-100pm.2), cannot be installed/upgraded due to the wrong dependencies conflicts (attached is a PrntScreen).

pls, help
