Any Good Application To Record With Webcam?

Hi, can anyone recommend an application to record my room with a webcam. My webcam works, I can do video conferencing and stuff, I just need an application to do off line recording.

Thanks for the reply, I think u misunderstood me, I meant just for regular stuff like partying or maybe recording videos using a webcam. Would this be useful for that or is it more focused on security?

it will do the job easily, and is not mainly for security

A very simple application for recording from a web cam is "wxcam":
