take a look at the link Oldcpu gave you; the entry for kdenlive has a link to the packman "links2linux" web site page for the kdenlive rpm's.

Also there are lists of repositories in this suselinux forum and our wikki

Did you try the one click install for kdenlive-0.60 ?
http://packages.opensuse-community.org/ind...ro=openSUSE_103

Note also from here, you just setup your zypper/yast:
http://opensuse-community.org/Repositories/10.3

head over to YaST -> Software -> Community Repositories, and add:

* OSS
* Non-OSS
* Packman
* Main Update Repository [/b]
Then select kdenlive from yast (or zypper) and install it.

thanks for all the help. I got it to work. It was having issues removing a lib, after manually removing it, the install went smoothly. Just out of curiosity, is kdenlive prone to crashes? This install seems to crash often. Thanks again

Yes, .. in fact all the MS-Windows video editors, and the Linux video editors, are prone to crash. The more processing power and the more memory your PC has, the less likely the crash. Also, the more familiar with the software one becomes (and hence less likely to try incorrect actions (where error trapping is poor) the less likely the crash.

When my wife uses the MS-WinXP Windows Movie Maker, she saves continually because of constant crashes. When I use kdenlive in Linux, I save continually for the same reason. With kdenlive, I never select the "recovery" option (as my experience is it does not work well). Instead I just go back to my last save.

I had similar (worse) lack of stability with every other Linux Video editor that I tried.
