Problem With Kdetv

Due to a major problem I had to do a re-install of Suse 10.3 on my computer. Prior to the re-install Kdetv was working perfectly now it crashes as soon as I start it and gives the following backtrace report:

Can someone please translate what all this means for a dummy and suggest what I need to do to fix it.
