So I may need to upgrade my SuSe boxes. I currently have ...

lnx-tntella-01:/etc # cat *release
SuSE SLES-8 (i386)
VERSION = 8.1
UnitedLinux 1.0 (i586)
VERSION = 1.0
lnx-tntella-01:/etc # uname -a
Linux lnx-tntella-01 2.4.19-64GB-SMP #1 SMP Mon Oct 21 18:48:05 UTC 2002 i686 unknown
lnx-tntella-01:/etc #

If I upgrade to SuSe 10, will it upgrade my libc also? Also... Is it very difficult to do so?

Thanks,

Z

upgrading such an old version of SLES with a newer one is not really recommended. Better to do a fresh install to SLES 10 ... and yes, your libc will be also upgraded
