Unable To Clone New Install?

I've been creating Xen VMs which are, upon installation, identical. Only after the build when they are appropriated for their individual purposes does the software change. I'd love to be able to create the one installation and clone it however, the option to do so on the final screen of YaST is inaccessible via ncurses (is it the same for graphical installs?).

I know about the Autoinstallation feature of YaST but that requires essentially dialing-in everything from scratch. How can I build a clone of an install otherwise?
