i have a pentium 4 pavillion , downloaded 10.3 dvd.
i get to the point in the installation where its looking for a repository and starts to download but im not connected to the internet and the installation cant find the URL.

i ve tried each time with and without checking to add repository in the new installation
nothing works,

after a few trials, now it says cant find the repository.. the md5 checksum is the same as the downloaded checksum numbers,

is there a second DVD with the repository i have to use

if the checksum is fine, am not sure sincerely what portion looks for repo. but there is an option to skip the online update configuration and online update during the installation process.

so are you saying that your install crashes when it's just installing all the packages? is it possible to tell which package(s) it crashes on? does it just freeze, or do the graphics mess up or what?
