Hi, I'm just installing a Suse Server to use for xen. Install went fine, all looks good until I reboot and select the Xen boot option. Then I get no graphics. Error messeges are "Failed to start Xserver" then "The X Server is now disabled . Restart GDM when it is configured correctly".

Please note that I am an absolute novice with Suse, or any linux! I can't understand why if would be ok for the standard Suse 10 SP1 startup, but not for the Xen startup. I know this looks like a graphic card/setup issue. The Graphics card is an Albatron 8400GS. I've tried the terminal session of Yast to look at the card settings - Hangs the server. I've tried SAX2 with various switches - also hangs the server...
Any help would be really appreciated!

Note I have no experience with Xen:
You mention running sax2, did you try sax2 -r -m 0=vesa from run level 3? This would imply that when you selected to boot you typed a 3 in the boot options line.

Well, that happen to me also, though I've already try using sax without any success.
