I am installing SuSE onto a brand-new server machine (Intel, IBM xSeries).
There are two SCSI hard drivers and I used the SCSI utilities
to format the two hard-disks (I guess only low-level formatting).

Then I boot the machine with the installation CD and everything went well
until the YaST started to check the installation settings.
It reported:

"no automatic proposal possible. Specify mount points manually in the
'Partitioner' dialog."

Should I manually do the partition first to the two SCSI hard-disks?
With what tool?

Your advice is very appreciated.

Thanks,

Jian

The install CD allows you to do this, you just need to click on the partitioning info to do it manually.
