Hi. I'm running SuSE 9.1 with a Windows XP partition. Everything was working fine until I did a YOU update. I downloaded all suggested files and when I tried to reboot got:

"fsck failed. Please repair manually and reboot. The root rile system is currently mounted read-only. To remount it read-write do:
bash# mount -n -o remount,rw /"

I successfully ran this command but have no idea how to "repair manually" and get booted. Any help? Any ideas on what I downloaded/updated to cause this? Thanks!

Login as root.
At prompt type: fsck /dev/hdax (where x = number of your root directory)
