Hi all,
I trying to use my nVidia card. I have already check HOWTO file, so i did anything like as i saw there. Now i can see the nice splash screen with nVidia logo, but i still haven't 3D support by card. As i know - from log files - there have some problem with glx module. Why i think it? Because in XFree86.0.log file have a few row: "... (II) LoadModule: "glx" (WW) Warning, couldn't open module glx (II) UnloadModule: "glx" (EE) Failed to load module "glx" (module does not exist, 0) ..." If anybody have any idea don't hesitate share with me please! Thanx, haky272@axelero.hu |

What Nvidia driver version did you use?
What HowTo did you follow? There is a own HowTo for SuSE: http://www.suse.de/~sndirsch/nvidia-...ler-HOWTO.html |

If you have the splash-screen, this means that the 3d acceleration is for sure activated. AFAIK there is no GLX module anymore, XFree just tries to load it since it doesn't know the new structure of the nvidia drivers. Try to run a program like glxgears and check your framerate!

i was under the impression that the glx module was still in use, ie i still install it, but oh well
