Ok,

I have gone as far as downloading the updated synaptics driver from here. I'm really afraid to venture any further without a little guidance, other than the readme & install documentation that come with this file, its a little to generalized to me. The problems that I'm having are if I touch the pad & move to the left, it will activate my web browser's back button, and it will constantly close my Kmenu while I'm trying to select an application. Yes, minor things, but they begin to get under one's skin after a while.

Alright! I guess I didn't search around as hard as I thought I did. I found the answer right here in this very forum... Install Ksynaptics. Once I installed that and configured everything, which was a lot easier than I thought it would be, no more problems!

Thank You Forum!
