Having never used the easy method myself all I can suggest is you follow the steps from http://www.suse.de/~sndirsch/nvidia-...ler-HOWTO.html
There is also a one click installer mentioned there.

If you choose the hard way I can help, though I do note that they have left out by mistake going to run level 3 (command init 3 in root console) to install the driver in the hard way instructions. This must be done in order for a proper install.

If after following these instructions you need help please post back what steps you have taken and where you are getting stuck.

Good luck ! B)

Thanks for your cooperation.

The problem is solved.

The reason was in the repositories. Finally I have realized that I have dozen of them in my repository list so I have deleted them all and I have added via
yast > software > community repositories the following from the list
Main repository OSS
Main repository NON-OSS
Main update repository
NVIDIA repository
Packman repository

After that one click way worked fine for me. After the reboot my screen resolution was 800x600 and i have changed it via Nvidia X server settings.

now I have sound card, card reader and wifi left.
