Please let me know how to get this card recognised by opensuse as the Prism Wlan card in my medion sim2000 is faulty.I'm giving him my old one to use and wanna get this up & running for him.I'm using opensuse on mine which is working, I also wanna get it so that we can share files across each pc.

according to this, http://linux-wless.passys.nl/query_p...brandname=Asus it has a rt2xx chip-set. get the drivers from here http://web.ralinktech.com/ralink/Hom...ort/Linux.html or here http://rt2x00.serialmonkey.com/ once installed go to yast - network devices - network card & set it up there

Did you try going to YaST > Network Devices > Network Cards

Is this device there?

Edit: Disregard, ... beaten to the keyboard by deltaflyer ... the fastest typist in the west.

Downloaded 2007_1210_RT61_Linux_STA_v1.1.2.0.tar.bz2 and saved in home folder which extracted to module and wpa_supplicant in it's folder. I am a complete noob to linux so where do i go from here, i'd know exactly what to do in windows but still learning here.Any good onine sites/books to learn linux???

extract them & there should be a README file inside with instructions

I've solved it by adding ralink in yast software installation!!
