Under SuSE 10.2 closing the lid on my laptop put the computer into suspend to disk. This feature does not appear to be a part of the KPowerSave features under SuSE 10.3. Suspend to disk still works by clicking on this in KPowerSave. Is there any way to trigger suspend to disk with a lid closure?

I believe suspend to disk does work on our family Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo 7400M with openSUSE-10.3. So this could be laptop specific. In which case IMHO you may have a better chance of getting help from someone by providing your laptop model/manufacturer #.

mine works, KPowersave settings (just get there by right clicking on the battery icon)>general settings>button events>lid close button>then just click suspend disk or whatever you like. does yours not have this option? i'm running 10.3 on a HP compaq 6720s and i get that option....?

let us know, ross.
