Hi,

I tried to install Suse 10.3 on a Travelmate 7720G-702G50N (+ 2GB additional RAM). The installation went smooth with the exception of graphics and sound. I could sort out the problems with the ATI Radeon HD 2600 with the help of http: //en.opensuse.org/ATI.
Sound still is a problem. If i put all sliders for output to maximum the volume is o.k. but one would expect that volume at all sliders in middle positions. The input i can't get to work at all.
yast detected 82801H (ICH8 Family) HD Audio Controller and uses snd-hda-intel as driver.

Any tips how to get sound in- and output to work?
