Hi

I have a HP Compaq nx8220 with SD card reader and I am running SuSE 10.2.

I found a description on how to make the card reader read, but it requires to load the following modules to the kernel:

su ...
modprobe mmc_block
modprobe mmc_core
modprobe sdhci
setpci -s 00:0a.2 4c=0x22

Where 00:0a.2 is just an example and the real address has to be found out via

lspci
(http://kanotix.com/index.php?module=pnWikka&tag=Laptop)

It also says that, to make these modulkes to be loaded permanentely, One shoudl add them to the file
/etc/modules-$(uname -r)
but I don't find this file.

Where Do I have to add the se modules that they are loaded automatically when booting?

Thanks

Rainer
