The madwifi web site is given in the above mentioned post.

You can download pre-compiled Suse driver packages from there - have a poke around madwifi.org

You need the driver + the appropriate kernel module packages. eg default, smp, big smp, etc.

You may need to install the source package if you plan to build the latest wpa_supplicant.

Once the drivers are installed, I think that the dlink will be recognized automatically, and should be simple to configure.

I tried ndiswrapper, I loaded the win drivers according to ndiswrapper, when I check to see if the drivers are loaded, it says "invalid driver". I tried to load all of the proper drivers that I found for the cards.

I also have a linksys wpc54g v1.2, linux recognizes the card in yast but it says I need to load the firmware. I have also tried to load the drivers and ndiswrapper says they are invalid.

I am kinda new to Linux but I am getting the hang of t, except I cannot get the wireless cards to work. Or is it easier to find a linux compatible card?

Thanks for any info.
