Hi,

I have just installed suse 10.1 and during install it used the Vesa graphics card, I have downloaded the latest Linx driver from ATI and installed, but after looking at the Graphics Card and Display config screen (YAST Control Centre), it still has VESA selected and I amnot sure how I get this set to the ATI Driver, can anyone help.

Thanks,

Gavin

Once you installed the ati drivers you need to config the xorg file.
This is done the following way :

aticonfig --initial --input=/etc/X11/xorg.conf
sax2 -r -m 0=fglrx

Now configure your X server with 3D.
