Intel 855gm And 3d Acceleration

Hi all.

I'm using SuSE 10.1 on an Acer TravelMate 382Tmi without major issues, except a problem I have when working in 3D acceleration mode. This laptop has a 855 GM graphic card which seems to be loaded and work correctly (in 2D).

If I start a 3D screensaver or Google Earth v4.0 or (sometimes) glxgears, only a small part of the screen shows the tridimensional image, while the remaining area is black.

Look at the attachment to see what I mean. Just started, Google Earth shows me only a string on top:

If I resize the window I see the whole image, but smaller than my screen size (1024x768) and with border with some kind of blur/overlapping-effect.

If I disable 3d acceleration, Google Earth works correctly but in software mode (slow).

Same happens with 3d screensavers and glxgears, look:

Problem seems to be just with 3d acceleration and some kind of 3d window positioning/sizing.
How can I fix this? Thank you.
