I'm having a problem trying to install my video drivers. The latese driver from Nvidia doesn't seam to work with the video card. I get all the way to install the driver and then I am back at the prompt to tell the computer to use the new driveer and I get a half page of white lines. the computer freezes once this hapens and I have to cold stop the computer to get it to reboot, I assume it's the wrong driver because every other part of the install goes well.....Init 3 then root and cd/ hoime...I have all of that figured out. Can anyone tell me if Nvidia geforce2 go works inn 10.1......I have read that 10.0 has the drivers for this card and works well.
I have a Dell Inspiron 8100, 512 ram, 1gighertz processor with a 20 gig hard drive
I also want to change my resolutuion and I can't every time I do the screen gets smaller it;s at 1600X1400(DEFAULT)...and thats to small...any help would be great. I think it a video problem...If anyone can help please let me know if im right because I only have had Linux for a week and I don't want to go back to Windows I like what I see in linux so far.

Thanks, Gridiron Hack
