Last Installation

Hey guys,
I love Suse linux, and the last time I installed Suse 10, I thought it was amazing. I got everything to work except I think there was a small graphics problem. When I closed the lid on my notebook, when I reopened my screen was black. It wouldn't come back either. It wasn't in hibernate either. I went into the control panel and changed "when lid closed" to "do nothing" It's a great deal to me to be able to leave my computer on while closed. My graphics card was "Mobile Intel® 915GM/GMS, 910GMS Express Chip Family." I am currently running Windows because I need Visual Basic for my class. But after Monday, I'm looking to go back. Is there new compatibility with 10.1? Or is there another distrobution that will work? Thanks again guys! :]
