Suse 10.1 worked HORRIBLY on my HP Pavilion ze2000 laptop. It detected and configured most of the hardwar just fine, but randomly locked up.. It did the same thing on a Dell C600 and an Averatec (dont remeber the model number)...
Works fine on myk desktop computer though! I ended up using Mepis on the HP laptop. -myk |

Sony Vaio VGN-A215Z with SUSE 10.1
Pentium M735 1.70Ghz 512RAM 60GB HD 15.4" WXGA 1280 x 800 LCD All works (including wireless) except: 'Hotkeys' for volume (except mute), brighteness, disk eject etc. This is fairly minor but it would be nice to have them. Haven't tried: Bluetooth (never use it) Hibernate Suspend Installation went very smoothly and only post installation setting up was screen (X asked me to confirm it was really 1280 x 800!) and the wireless. But setting up the wireless was no more hassle than the typical Windows install. |

Does xev command come up with a keycode for those Hotkeys?
