And stll no ati driverws When i went to install the rpm the first time i did get this error (this is someone elses error code, but i got exactly the same kernel module failure): linux:/tmp # rpm -Uvh fglrx_6_8_0_SUSE100-8.23.7-1.i386.rpmPreparing... ########################################### [100%] 1:fglrx_6_8_0_SUSE100 ########################################### [100%]/usr/src/kernel-modules/fglrx /make: Entering directory `/usr/src/linux-2.6.13-15.8-obj/i386/default'make: *** No targets specified and no makefile found. But now everytime i try to install the rpm it says that it is already installed. Can i uninstall the package and start again. If so, how? I havent got a clue where to try now, im just going round in circles doing the same ineffective things over and over again! Any help, especially from someone whose managed to get the drivers on a 64bit system, would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance |
