Question

I have just installed Suse 10.0 on my Compaq Presario 900 computer and am trying to use a Linksys wirless network card to access my router but it keeps telling me that it can't see it or a internet connection. Can anyone help? IDon't know of to many paticulars but would still love all the help I can get.

Thanks

Ok well have you got encryption turned off for a start and used the same SSID and channel?

What exact card are you using in the laptop? (model no.)

I assume you've run Yast, Network Devices once after the installation to configure it, and that before that, it was plugges in at boot up. If so, do you any lights on your card? If you do, don't rightclick to scan for wireless network if only one light. Instead, left click again once. Light should go back and forth. Only then, right click on kinternet, scan, then connect. I just installed Suse 10 on my 900us, and no problems with wireless.
