Hello,

i am a Linux newbie.
my System:
Linux Suse 9.3 at a Samsung X20 with Intel 915 GM.

The Display should reach 1400x1050, but all i get ist 1280x1024.

What i did:
-started in runtime 3
-start sax2
-selected Monitor TFT->1400x1050
-made some settings for the display size (305x229mm)
-selected Grafic Chip: Intel 915 GM
-checked all resolutions up to 1400x1050

sax says: Grafic System will start in 1400x1050....

i do finish ... test ... and only see 1280x1024.

what i am doing wrong ?
i want to change from windows to linux .. but i want my correct resolution

Thanks for any help !

Hi!

I have exactly the same problem with my Samsung X20 and SUSE 10.0
Could you please tell me, if you managed to get the full size on your monitor?

My E-Mail-adress: Kathrin_Dorn@web.de

Thanks!
