I just installed SuSE Linux 9.3 on my Acer Travelmate 800. Everything works just great, but the WLAN-Card. It is detected, it even shows the access-point. But TX-Power is disabled, so i cannot connect to the network. "iwconfig eth0 txpower on" results in an error: invalid argument. i tried a few arguments like auto, off or specific values for txpower, but nothing did work. Is there any possibility to get my WLAN-Card online???

Any help would be appreciated!
Thx,
Aragorn

I'm not that familiar with WLAN under linux, but I suppose txpower means the transmission power?

What is the output if you just run:

iwconfig eth0 txpower

(so without any argument)?
