Good day,

Tried to find a sensitivity, dragging, movement bar in the settings but havent yet.

Just moved over to Suse 9.2 on NX9110 and sorting out the small problems.

Does anyone know where to get the touchpad to NOT be a selection device and let only the buttons act as the selectors?

Prob missed the setting been faffing with the Wireless, Printer and moving onto the Samba but the mouse is driving me crazy.

anyone who has had this problem let me know thanks.

I wish I knew, it bugs the **** out of mee too, typing something and I move the mouse, and it clicks somewhere else, didn't even tap the pad, just dragged. Anyways, wish I knew.
Good luck, and if I find a solution, I'll post.

I'm having a similar problem. When I tap the mouse pad, nothing happens. But if I do a type of quick-drag ie a swipe of the mouse pad then that works like tapping the mouse pad would. I'm runnning an ALPS mousepad.

I read the post in this same subforum http://forums.suselinuxsupport.de/in...showtopic=8506

I copied the "synaptics" section of the second poster's XF86Config file and set my CoreDevice to this new section. Now mouse tapping works as well as vertical scrolling.

I have been having the same problem...the cursor will jump back and forwards without any input by me...this most noticable while typing as I am right now. ..
I have read your post and added the lines to my xf86config...but I am not sure what what you mean by setting it as the "core device"?
Could you please elaborate?

EDIT: ok I have messed with it somemore...looked in sax2 and reset the mouse...it seems to have helped...my touch pad is still very sensitive on the edges where my palms rest while typing...is there any way to adjust the sensitivity?

Ok things seem to be much better now...but I would like to disable the "tapping" and just
use the buttons...is this possible?

To all who want to enable hardware tapping, read this.
