Hi,

I have a compaq presario 2120EU laptop and a 19" CRT monitor on my desk. I want to plug the monitor to laptop and use it as a secondary screen and with the laptop screen they will form a single desktop that a can carry apps from one to the other. I have tried lots of stuff , passed lots of tutorials...no success. either both of the screens show same thing or only the big one works.
The video adapter in laptop is ATI igp 320M. I don't think it's beyond the capabilities of the video card because dual view is working with windows!!

Any help will be appreciated...

Yeah I tried it too. It doesn't work. I think it's because of the linux version of ATI drivers....
