I just upgraded my Thinkpad 600e to SuSE 9.2 personal, and one thing has changed. When I close the lid it doesnt suspend. It used to shut down the hard drive, screen , and all, and would come back once you opened the screenback up. What happens now is that the screen goes all crazy and then doesnt come out of it. I end up having to hard reboot the system, (which is not good). So does anyone else have this problem as well?? And if so whats the fix?
Thanks,
Wavz

I have the same problem with my dell inspiron 5000, but as of yet no one has responded to my cry for help which was posted two days ago. If you find a solution to the problem please post it. Good Luck.

If you're running 9.2, haven't you got the power plug applet down in the right-hand bottom of your taskbar?
From here I can see the state of my battery and charge status, disable the screen saver, set active scheme, set CPU Frequency Policy, Suspend to disk, start Yat2 Power Management Module. The only thing greyed out is Suspend to Ram.
