I'm completely new to SuSe, as this is the first time I've used it. Prior to this I was using Red Hat.

I'm trying to install the drivers for my SmartLink Winmodem, but when I try to compile the makefile, I get an error stating that "gcc :command not found" is there somewhere I can get the files for gcc to correct this?

Heeeeeeeeelllllllllllllllpppppppppp mmmmmeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

Thanks guys - any support would be appreciated.

Diae.

If there is a SuSE 9.2 Personal that's news to me (and in fact I would like to get it). Do you mean 9.1 Personal?

In any event, try a search on this forum. This topic comes up pretty frequently. You will need a working c compiler, which 9.1 Personal does not come with.
