Evertime I start up my Thinkpad 600e with SuSE 9.1 personal I get this message.

Your monitor didn't report its X- and Y-Size, this might cause display problems like unreadable fonts.
Do you want to configure your monitor geometry manually?
yes no

Just wondering if there is a way to either disable or do something so this message doesnt show up. The resoultion is 1024x768 and right now looks great, but I think when I set it up SuSE wanted to recognize it as a 800x600 only.

Thanks,
Wavz

Sorry found the answer on LQ. And I wanted to share the solution on this forum. Go into YAST-Hardware-Graphics & Card Monitor-Graphical Desktop Environment (Change)-Monitor-Properities-Expert-Display size in mm I added in (X:274 Y:205)-tested out the configuration-saved, and then restarted. After the restart the configure box didnt show up, but the display does look a bit diffrent, (Desktop Icons are a bit bigger), but for the most part it look great I hope I helped out
