Hi I have suse 9.1 installed on my laptop (gericom webgine advanced 1400+) I am looking for a way to suspend the session, ruffly speaking sonthing similar to the option suspend (not standby) in Winzozz.

On my Thinkpad with 9.2 I can use the kpowersave applet in the system tray or just close the lid. I had to configure/turn on some options in the YaST2 Power Management module.

In 9.1, you actually have to edit the acpi scripts. I never had SuSE 9.1 on my laptop long enough for me to work out the details, so I don't have precise instructions on how to do so.
