Hi there, I have Suse 10.3 and unfortunately my sound card on my Acer Aspire 5310 isn't working. It was actually working previously , I mean I already had Suse running on this laptop and I managed to make the sound card work reading the guide http://en.opensuse.org/AudioTroubleshooting but I can't remember exactly what I have done.

So this is the report I have of my sound card http://nopaste.com/p/aZgHwoj2M
I tried to upgrade alsa via rpm but I get an error:

linux-yx5n:/home/ksusha # zypper install alsa alsa-driver-kmp-default alsa-utils alsa-tools alsa-firmware libasound2
* Reading repository 'openSUSE-10.3-DVD 10.3' cache
* Reading repository 'multimedia-audio' cache
* Reading installed packages [100%]

skipping package 'alsa-firmware' (already installed)

Problem: alsa-driver-kmp-default cannot be installed due to missing dependencies
There are no installable providers of kernel(default:drivers_usb_core) == 4c72c467f0d75340 for alsa-driver-kmp-default-1.0.16.hg20080502_2.6.22.17_0.1-1.1.i586[multimedia-audio]
=== alsa-driver-kmp-default-1.0.16.hg20080502_2.6.22.17_0.1-1.1.i586[multimedia-audio] ===
alsa-driver-kmp-default-1.0.16.hg20080502_2.6.22.17_0.1-1.1.i586[multimedia-audio] will be installed by the user.
kernel-default-2.6.22.5-31.i586 is needed by alsa-driver-kmp-default-1.0.16.hg20080502_2.6.22.17_0.1-1.1.i586[multimedia-audio] (kernel-default == 2.6.22.5-31)

Solution 1: do not install alsa-driver-kmp-default
do not install alsa-driver-kmp-default-1.0.16.hg20080502_2.6.22.17_0.1-1.1.i586[multimedia-audio]
Solution 2: Ignore this requirement just here

I already applied a patch to the Kernel to make my WLAN card work.
Any ideas?
