Don't know if this is the right forum but i'm giving it a shot (still not 100% comfortable navigating this forum ). As if my troubles weren't enough, I'm starting to get an error sign when I login to Suse and it says the following (directly translated from Swedish):

'the Powersave-demon is not running. By starting it the standard will be improved: /usr/sbin/rcpowersavedd start' and I found the folder okay but I didn't find a file called 'rcpowersavedd' (but I did find one called 'rcpowersaved')

and since I'm really new to Suse (I've had nothing but trouble, sort of, so I haven't had any time to get comfortable with the system) I'm wondering: how do I fix this so that annoying popup will stop appearing? It just started one day and I want it gone

YaST -system -system services -run-level scroll down the list until you see powersaved & make sure it is showing yes in the enable column.if not click on enable, should sort it.

I sometimes hate having Suse in Swedish. A lot. It appears as though I can't find 'system services' under 'system' in Yast. I swear I'm not blind, or at least I hope not, because I've checked three-four times.

I rebooted my computer after enabling the powerthing (even though it said it'd already been enabled) and now there seems to be no problem Finally a problem that's been solved
