are you using kde? some effects don't work. i have kde and one effect which i have ticked is wobbly windows and this works. anyway, have you 3d enabled in sax, and have you editing your xorg.conf file to enable compositing?

Could you explain it more carefully

And tell me exactly what I need (graphic card configuration) for Compiz.

Thanks

yes, I'm on KDE.

How to check if I enabled 3D in SAX, and if not, how to enable it?

AND

How to edit xorg.conf file? And what does this "composing thing" do?

Thanks again

Thanks for the "wiring tip" :-) but you missed the thread for it (never mind)

Thanks also for useful links. Will study tommorow.

Good night
