Many of our forum members have now installed openSUSE-10.3.

Those of you who succeeded (or maybe even failed), please as a contribution to openSUSE, could you take the time to update the openSUSE Hardware compatibility wiki:
http://en.opensuse.org/HCL
noting it now works with 10.3 (or doesn't work in 10.3) with your hardware (as appropriate/applicable)?

Thanks.

As a community, we should work together to keep the list current and up-to-date, regardless of release. Be thorough and include which version of SUSE and which kernel, and any other details.

For those whose hardware is compatible with openSUSE, and who find updating the openSUSE hardware wiki technically challenging, if you PM me your hardware details and its compatibility status with openSUSE, I'll do the update for you.

Please only those whose hardware is compatible.

Thanks.

Did same. Machine is a HPdv9572EA. Although it's taken a while to get properly configured almost everything works including Bluetooth, LightScribe, integral WebCam etc. The only thing that doesn't work is the Finger Print Scanner. Looks as if we may have to wait a little while for a driver for this.

As a start, until others add their experience to that line, it looks good to me. Thanks!

Updated for Toshiba Satellite A30-203 and IBM X31 - Both have OpenSUSE 10.3 installed as single system.
