Hi Guys,
I installed SuSe 10.3 on my laptop a couple of weeks ago and all was well until yesterday. Last night the backlight for my laptop monitor just stoped working. I can not see how Suse would be responsable for it but I just would like to check with you before I install it on my new Laptop.
Thanks in advance for your comments.
Best regards
Luis

AFAIK, SuSE will not do these things. Hardware failure can be due to many different factors, but, not due to software

Hi. I only use laptops (several ones) over the years and always with linux since the times of Suse 7.3. Those pcs always worked fine and only one had a problem at the mobo but in no way related to the operating system. So i think you can repair your pc and work with confidence.
