Hi Guys,
I did a system update for a suse 10.3 and it seems that it downloaded bunch of files. Any idea where these files are stored? I think the update did not do the job to remove them afterwards and my space is limited. I have created it as virtual machine, so currently I can not repartition it. Thanks, SveT |

If you're thinking the rpm's installed weren't erased after the upgrade and you used smart they'ed be in /var/lib/smart/packages, there's a parameter to have them erased after installed somewhere. If you use Yast I don't know, but you should check your /tmp and /var dir's.
You can use kdirstat (or similar) to determine where your disk usage is. And if disk is real tight you should look at the size of your .log files. |
