Hello,
After installing openSuSE 10.3 I got a problem that cause my system not to have a boot splash screen and after selecting the OS in Boot manager I was asked to choose the some options that select the resolution of terminal (But not resolution of desktop environment). Now I can select any resolution in SaX2 without any problem but that didn't change the resolution of the terminal (Ctrl+Alt+F1 to F6). Is there any means I can change the resolution of the terminal?? If there is any means please help me out. |

Hi,
you have to change the resolution of the boot splash and the terminal in the grub configuration. search for vga=xxx in /boot/grub/menu.lst or use yast bootloader configuration and edit your openSuSE entry. this link helps to find a suitable mode http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/handbook/2005...t=1&chap=10 (Maybe someone has a better link) hope this helps |
