I can't believe openSuse 10.2 doesn't have 'locate' installed by default, and I can't find this. Is there a rpm available for this, and where can I find it? I even have packman in my catalog and still can't find it from there.

THANKS

Oh my bad I see that 'findutils' is installed then why am I not finding locate in here?

It's not my /path as a user or root as 'su' or su -l

Hmm
