Hi All,
My OpenSUse Updater keeps on coming with the message " Unable to check if updates are available". I am connected to the internet so I can not understand why this happens as my Desktop was setup the same way and it updates automatically with no problems. any ideas welcome. Best regards Luis |

This is an error. Seems to happen when only 'recommended' updates are there. Wait until a 'security' one joins them, or goto YaST > Software Management and do it by hand.
Edit: Must be YaST > Online Update |

i have disabled the auto updater and check daily whether there are updates or not via yast. ensure all repositories needed are there. i think you will be best off checking updates manually. that's just my opinion...but give it a go, a lot of people seem to do it on here.
