Hi All,
My OpenSUse Updater keeps on coming with the message " Unable to check if updates are available".
I am connected to the internet so I can not understand why this happens as my Desktop was setup the same way and it updates automatically with no problems.
any ideas welcome.
Best regards
Luis

This is an error. Seems to happen when only 'recommended' updates are there. Wait until a 'security' one joins them, or goto YaST > Software Management and do it by hand.

Edit: Must be YaST > Online Update

i have disabled the auto updater and check daily whether there are updates or not via yast. ensure all repositories needed are there. i think you will be best off checking updates manually. that's just my opinion...but give it a go, a lot of people seem to do it on here.
