I'm having a hard time getting Gnucash to install. I have SLED10SP1. If I search in YaST for Gnucash it is not there.
I can only seem to locate versions that run seem to indicate that they run on newer versions (10.3). If I try to install those there a number of dependency problems. Obviously, I'm still learning, but this is really seemingly too hard. I've been able to install other programs like Picasa without a problem. I've used Gnucash and really like it. I just cannot seem to get over this hump. Googling hasn't turned up anything that works. Isn't there something as simple as an installation source--server name and directory I can set up and go from there? Strange that for such a popular open source program that it is easier to get it going on Windows than a Linux OS. |

you tried using the source rpm & re-building it ? if you are not using the paid for support/repo's for SLED, there used to be stuff in the openSUSE repo's for 10.1 you could use, but AFAIK 10.1 support has ended, so the source may be your only way
