Does SLES9 provide compat-glibc-2.3.2-95.30.i386.rpm?
I am trying to run binaries compiled with the glibc-2.3.2-95 on SLES9.
But, default glibc on my SLES9 installation is glibc-2.3.3-98.73.
Due to this difference in glibc version, my application is crashing

So, I would like to use compat-glibc-2.3.2-95.30 library on SLES9 for runtime.
Can I please know whether SLES9 has compat-glibc-2.3.2-95.30.i386.rpm?
Will it help to resolve crash issues in my binary?
Thanks.

I do not know why you creating new thread ? Whats wrong with "Running Rhel3 Binaries On Sles9" ??? Anyway, just get source rpm from redhat, and use rpmrebuild. You would need to specify another destidr so glibc 2.2 will not clash with 2.3 from SLES9. Use man rpm
