I have this problem, where the computer button is missing. As I have only used Suse 10.2 for about one week, I'm unable til access anything, even shut down my computer.

Where have this thing gone. Any ideas on how to restore this will be highly appreciated..

BTW I'm using Gnome as my desktop environment..

Yes, its the button similar to the Start button in this other expensive OS from the States... lower, left corner.. where you access all programs...

Can I create a "launcher" by rightklik on the desktop.. whats the command ??

yep, right click on the panel > Panel Menu > Add applet, search for Kmenu in it and add it.
