I was trying to install quanta plus, but after running the 'configure' script I get this out put. How can I correct it?

I have attached the output textfile.

Suse 9.3 pro and opensuse 10

Cheers.

Looks like you need to install this:

checking for X... configure: error: Can't find X includes. Please check your installation and add the correct paths!

Check your installation discs.

Thanks for the info. I am certain the listed items have all been installed. I needed to install them else './configure' refused to run in the first place.

But I will still verify when I get home tonight.

cheers

remember that you may need to add prefix and other flags to ./configure
sometimes software is looking in the wrong (non-standard) place for required libs.
And sometimes the only way to compile stuff is to make symlinks (to the folder where software is expecing libs to be)...

Thanks ever so much guys.
I installed the packages, but boy were there so many packages required!
After installing the packages I run 'make'. Initially 'make' was terminating some errors, but eventually it terminated gracefully (without errors as far as I know - because there were no such reported).

Now I need to start quanta - how do I do it?

cheers
