$Display

When trying to run a program with WINE or CEDEGA I get this error!

Code:

Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server
Xlib: No protocol specified

x11drv: Can't open display: :0.0

How do i fix this?

Are you trying this from a Konsole in KDE?

What user are you trying this as?

If root, are you using

sux

not

su

?

tried as SU and got that error ^

tried as non su and got

/usr/lib/transgaming_cedega//winex/bin/wine: can't exec '<file.exe>': error=21

For X - use "sux" not "su" - it adds permissions for X

Probably best to have a search on Google - see if anyone else has seen that Error 21

using sux i get that darn error 21 again

Thats an error in Wine then, rather then SuSE

I have the same error if I try to install something with cedega when i'm root.
But install works when i'm not root.
You can try to install games etc. without being root
