Suse 10.2 AMD 64bit

Is anyone using smart to do their security upgrades/patching ? I am thinking of turning off the suse updater and using smart to check for and install security packages. Do you see any downside ?

I use smart almost exclusively, but then hey, I'm the smart documentation writer. So what else would you expect. In fact, I'm in the middle of rewriting the documentation.

How do you go about using smart for determining and installing security upgrades -or do we have to wait for the docs ?

See, I'm in the middle of rewriting the docs. You can find the original documentation here; http://wiki.suselinuxsupport.de/wikka.php?...tPackageManager
