I've 2 problems when trying to shutdown a PC with an ASUS M2N-SLI Deluxe motherboard. I'm running 10.3 x86_64.

The first is that alsa sound won't stop and the shutdown procedure just hangs when it reaches this point.

If I work round this, eg. by disabling the onboard MCP55 sound, the halt command is executed but say 19/20 times, the PC does not power down.

Any ideas?
